Just wondering… Are there any other contests (apart from the OLA ones that are only for libraries and schools) where tickets can be won? I’m already planning on getting my local library and my school to enter, but I just want to know if there are any other chances?

I’m a muslim and I’m not winning. The only people winning are people whose names are popular in Canada. I find that weird. D= I really want to win. I was nearly crying today ...

Haider, What a terribly hurtful thing to say to Raincoast.  And embarassing to all Muslims.  Don’t be a sore loser.  Everyone is desperate to win.  You just can’t always get what you want.

I believe I know Amanda C...I think I was one of her swimming teachers (Amanda, if you’re reading this, congratulations!  And I know a teacher who’d love to go with you to the reading ).

Still really really really really sad about not being on the list.  And have pretty much given up all hope at this point.

Actually, a winner did comment once. And even 85 isn’t that big a chance compared to the number of people who enter each day. Me and my family (5 in total) have all been entering every single day, and we haven’t one once yet, either. Hopefully today’s the day!

Each day, when I open this, my heart rate speeds up, hold my breathe, scan the list - have not won.

Sigh, enter again, crossing my fingers and hoping desperately to win a pair of tickets.

Shame there isn’t brownie points for community involvement or number of fansites / communities maintained in past. But such is life, luck of the draw.
